Quail Field Day
Over the past 20 years land owners John Long and Tom Fisher have connected efforts and currently manage over 500 acres of restoration habitat. This summer, in partnership with our regional NRCS, Tall Timbers, the Natural Lands Project, Lower Shore Land Trust plans to highlight the valuable habitat restoration work done by Tom Fisher and John Long. These two adjoining properties are prime examples of connectivity in action.
This event is open to any landowner interested in establishing Bobwhite Quail Habitat. It will be an outdoor demonstration and opportunity to see practices in various levels of implementation. Refreshments will be served.
