Celebrate World Rivers Day at Ayers Creek Adventures
The event is a celebration of World Rivers Day – millions of people in more than 100 countries celebrate World Rivers Day on the 4th Sunday in September. Join us as we recognize the importance of our local waterways and explore Ayers Creek.
Join us at 9:00 am for coffee and pastries then explore Ayers Creek by kayak or on a paddle board. Free launch if you bring your own boat or enjoy discount rates for rentals.
Registration fee includes shirt! Register early for best size selection.
At 11 am, Chrissy Ehrhart of Zenna Wellness Studio will be leading a yoga practice to give thanks to the waters that flow. All paddlers participating in River Rally during World Rivers Day are welcome. Bring your mat or a towel to join fellow paddlers offer sun salutations in gratitude. At will donations accepted.
Shirts are long sleeve sport tek tee that is 4oz 100% polyester, moisture wicking, UPF 50 – great for being out on the water and wicking that moisture!
Participants are welcome to paddle past 11 am for an additional boat rental fee. Just let Ayers Creek staff know when renting boats if you plan to paddle past 11 am.
Thank you for registering for River Rally! The event will go on rain or shine. However, in the event of a threatening storm involving thunder, lightning and or high winds the event will be cancelled. No credit and or refund of the registration fee will be given due to inclement weather although the kayak/board rental portion of the registration fee will be refunded due to a weather related cancelation. Should LSLT and Ayers Creek Adventures have to cancel the event for any reason, shirt pick-ups will be arranged.
