Learn from an exceptional panel of experts about the economics of bird conservation!

Birding is a growing activity around the world, and here on Delmarva, the trends are also on the rise. What does that mean for bird conservation? Register for this workshop and learn from an exceptional panel of experts about the economics of bird conservation. Sara Barker from Cornell Lab of Ornithology Center for Avian Population Studies, Jim Rapp, Community Conservation Consulting and Delmarva Birding Weekends, David Satterfield from Eastern Shore Land Conservancy, and Jared Parks from Lower Shore Land Trust will highlight how birds have the power to amplify conservation, stewardship and community outreach.

The July 26th event is the sixth installment of the Delmarva Bird Conservation Series. The full series will highlight restoration efforts being implemented across Maryland’s Eastern Shore and will include discussions of restoration practices and trainings in bird conservation, in an effort to increase awareness of the challenges to bird populations and of the actions being implemented to counter them
